SOUTHERN MILLE LACS AND NORTHEASTERN BENTON COUNTIES...

AT 908 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN CONTINUING ACROSS
THE WARNED AREA. ESTIMATES OF 5 TO 7 INCHES HAVE FALLEN IN THE PAST
3 HOURS. FLASH FLOODING IS ALREADY OCCURRING.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
MILACA...FORESTON...BOCK...GRANITE LEDGE AND RUM RIVER.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TURN AROUND...DON`T DROWN WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS. MOST FLOOD
DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...URBAN AREAS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND
UNDERPASSES AS WELL AS OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.
