...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR NORTHWESTERN GOODHUE AND
SOUTHERN DAKOTA COUNTIES UNTIL 1100 PM CDT...

AT 901 PM CDT...LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED THAT
FLOODING WAS OCCURRING SOUTH OF MIESVILLE...OR NORTHEAST OF CANNON
FALLS. SOME INTERSECTIONS REMAIN UNDER WATER. GOODHUE COUNTY ROAD 20
REMAINS CLOSED.

RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF OVER 6 INCHES HAVE BEEN REPORTED IN THE AREA.
THE RAINFALL HAS MOSTLY SUBSIDED WITH ONLY MINOR ADDITIONAL
AMOUNTS EXPECTED TONIGHT. HOWEVER...SOME ROADS IN THE AREA REMAIN
FLOODED AT THIS TIME FROM THE EARLIER HEAVY RAIN AND THE WARNING
WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT UNTIL THE FLOOD WATERS RECEDE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY.
