...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR NORTHWESTERN SWIFT AND STEVENS
COUNTIES UNTIL 800 AM CDT...

AT 334 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. AN
ESTIMATED 3-4 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN...AND AN ADDITIONAL 1-2
INCHES ARE POSSIBLE.

RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING TO OCCUR.
SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...MORRIS...LAKE
HATTIE AND LAKE OLIVER.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING. MOST FLOOD RELATED DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR OTHER LOW SPOTS IF WATER
COVERS THE ROADWAY. NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A
SMALL ONE...ON FOOT OR IN A VEHICLE.
