...NEAR CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS TODAY FOR MUCH OF
CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN MINNESOTA...

Dry conditions and breezy winds will produce near critical fire
weather conditions this afternoon into this evening. Northwest
winds around 15 mph with gusts to around 20 mph are expected this
afternoon into early this evening. Minimum relative humidity
values of around 20 percent are also expected. This combination
may lead to the rapid spread of fires.

Check burning restrictions and fire danger before burning.

For more information on burning restrictions for Minnesota, see
www.dnr.state.mn.us/forestry/fire/firerating_restrictions.html.
