...FLOOD WATCH IS CANCELLED...

The Flood Watch is cancelled for portions of southern Illinois,
including the following areas, Alexander, Franklin, Gallatin,
Hamilton, Hardin, Jackson, Johnson, Massac, Perry IL, Pope, Pulaski,
Saline, Union, White and Williamson, southwest Indiana, including
the following areas, Posey, Spencer, Vanderburgh and Warrick,
western Kentucky, including the following areas, Ballard, Livingston
and McCracken, and southeast Missouri, including the following
areas, Bollinger, Cape Girardeau, Perry MO, Scott, Stoddard and
Wayne MO.

The flooding threat has ended. Therefore, the Flood Watch is being
cancelled.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of western Kentucky, including the following
  areas, Caldwell, Calloway, Carlisle, Christian, Crittenden,
  Daviess, Fulton, Graves, Henderson, Hickman, Hopkins, Lyon,
  Marshall, McLean, Muhlenberg, Todd, Trigg, Union KY and Webster
  and southeast Missouri, including the following areas, Mississippi
  and New Madrid.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT this morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Numerous thunderstorms will continue to produce heavy
    rainfall of over an inch an hour as they move east across the
    region early this morning. The additional heavy rainfall will
    worsen ongoing flooding and may cause new flooding in some
    areas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
