...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN JEFFERSON COUNTY
THROUGH 845 PM CDT...

At 752 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Woodlawn, or near Mount Vernon, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Mount Vernon, Woodlawn, Bluford, and Dix.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 57 in Illinois between Mile Markers 96 and 104.
 Interstate 64 in Illinois between Mile Markers 69 and 74.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for south central
Illinois.
