...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO 9 AM EDT
SATURDAY...
* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level
expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal
waterways.
* WHERE...In New Jersey, Gloucester, Camden and Northwestern
Burlington. In Pennsylvania, Delaware, Philadelphia and Lower
Bucks.
* WHEN...From 4 AM to 9 AM EDT Saturday.
* IMPACTS...At this level, flooding begins on the most
vulnerable roads along tidal waterways. Some partial or full
road closures are possible.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...While we are not forecasting the moderate
flood levels that were seen early Friday morning, minor flooding
should be expected along much of the lower Delaware Bay once
again with the Saturday morning high tide.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.

TONIGHT...
* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level in low-
lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways, mainly across
the back bays.
* WHERE...Ocean and Coastal Ocean.
* WHEN...Until midnight EDT tonight.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only
isolated road closures expected.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Minor flooding continues on the back bays
where water remains trapped. The flooding is more pronounced in
the northern portion of Barnegat Bay, including tidal locations
near Mantoloking and Bayshore. Tidal flooding is not expected
along the ocean- side, with spottier minor flooding along the
south end of Barnegat Bay. Water levels will gradually subside
later tonight, though it is possible some spotty minor flooding
may even linger into Saturday morning for northern parts of
Barnegat Bay.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.

EVENING...

low- lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways mainly
across the back bays.
* WHERE...Inland Sussex and Delaware Beaches.
* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT this evening.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only
isolated road closures expected.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Localized minor tidal flooding continues
across Little Assawoman Bay and Jefferson Creek in Sussex
County, as water remains trapped in the back bays. Coastal
Flooding for ocean side communities has lowered, but water
levels may linger near or just above minor flood stage well into
this evening before lowering more substantially later tonight.
