At 412 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 5 miles southwest of
Pinehurst to near Rockingham. Movement was northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Southern Pines, Rockingham, Raeford, Pinehurst, Hamlet, Aberdeen,
Hoffman, Whispering Pines, Pinebluff, and Ellerbe.
