8TH WARMEST MARCH. IT WAS THE WARMEST MARCH SINCE 2012. BELOW ARE

THE LOWEST TEMPERATURE WAS 2 DEGREES ON THE 2ND.

A TOTAL OF 3.98 INCHES OF LIQUID PRECIPITATION WAS MEASURED DURING
THE MONTH. THIS AMOUNT WAS 2.10 INCHES WETTER THAN NORMAL. THIS MADE

WHILE THE FIRST 2 DAYS OF MARCH AVERAGED WERE WELL BELOW NORMAL
/AVERAGING 13.0 DEGREES COLDER THAN NORMAL/...MUCH OF THE
REMAINDER MONTH AVERAGED ABOVE-NORMAL.  WITH AN AVERAGE
TEMPERATURE OF 38.5 DEGREES...IT WAS THE 8TH WARMEST
MARCH.  WITH THE WARMTH CAME...SEVERAL ROUNDS OF PRECIPITATION.
THIS PRECIPITATION AMOUNTED TO 3.98 INCHES WHICH MADE IT THE
3RD WETTEST MARCH AND THE WETTEST SINCE 1951. ABOVE-NORMAL
MARCH TEMPERATURES AND PRECIPITATION ARE FAIRLY TYPICAL
DURING STRONG EL NINOS.
