...ROCHESTER TIES THEIR RECORD DAILY SNOWFALL FOR OCTOBER 27TH...

ON OCTOBER 27TH, THE OFFICIAL SNOWFALL OBSERVER NEAR ROCHESTER
INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT REPORTED 1.5 INCHES OF SNOW.  THIS TIED THE
RECORD DAILY SNOWFALL FOR THIS DATE SET BACK IN 1917.  ADDITIONAL
SNOW MAY FALL TODAY AND A FINAL REPORT WILL BE SENT OUT LATER
TODAY.

NORMALLY, 0.8 INCHES OF SNOW FALLS DURING THE MONTH OF OCTOBER.
HISTORICALLY, MEASURABLE SNOW FALLS IN 1 OUT OF EVERY 3 OCTOBERS.
THE LAST TIME MEASURABLE SNOW FELL DURING OCTOBER WAS BACK IN 2015
(0.2 INCHES).
