            An EF1 tornado touched down on the southwest
            side of Shreveport along Cedar Creek Drive
            and tracked just over 3 miles through
            residential areas where it snapped and
            uprooted numerous trees. The roof of a small
            outbuilding at Southwood High School was
            also completely removed at which point
            maximum winds were estimated at 95 mph and
            tornado width at 350 yards as it passed
            overhead. The tornado continued northeast
            across Walker Road, Mackey Lane and Jewella
            Avenue before finally lifting after crossing
            LA Highway 3132 just east of Mansfield Road.
