...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHERN MORRIS COUNTY...

At 515 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles southwest of
Wilsey, moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. At 512 PM, quarter size hail was
         reported southeast of Herington.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Council Grove, Wilsey, Dunlap, Burdick, and Council Grove Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for east central
Kansas.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
