A WEAK COLD FRONT PUSHED THROUGH EASTERN COLORADO OVERNIGHT,
SPREADING AREAS OF CLOUDS AND COLDER WEATHER BACK ACROSS THE STATE.
ENOUGH MOISTURE WILL SPREAD INTO THE MOUNTAINS BEHIND THIS FRONT FOR
ISOLATED RAIN OR SNOW SHOWERS TODAY. A NEW LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL
BEGIN MOVING INTO THE DESERT SOUTHWEST TONIGHT. THIS LOW WILL HELP
TO DRAW AN ABUNDANCE OF MOISTURE INTO THE REGION, WITH THE BEST
CHANCES FOR PRECIPITATION EXPECTED OVER THE SOUTHERN MOUNTAINS,
WHERE SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED. PERSONS PLANNING TRAVEL
THROUGH THIS AREA SHOULD REMAIN WEATHER ALERT. ELSEWHERE ACROSS THE
STATE, ISOLATED TO SCATTERED AREAS OF PRECIPITATION WILL BE POSSIBLE
FROM FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY EVENING, BEFORE DIMINISHING EARLY SUNDAY
AS THE LOW MOVES SOUTH INTO MEXICO AND AWAY FROM THE STATE. AREA
TEMPERATURES WILL FALL BACK TO NEAR OR SLIGHTLY BELOW AVERAGE INTO
THE UPCOMING WEEKEND.

SKIES WILL BE MOSTLY CLOUDY TODAY, WITH A 10 PERCENT CHANCE OF SNOW.
