TEMPERATURES...THE MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE FOR JANUARY OF 43 DEGREES WHICH WAS AVERAGE
FOR THE MONTH. THE MINIMUM TEMPERATURE WAS 17 DEGREES WHICH IS TEN DEGREES WARMER
THAN THE AVERAGE WHICH IS SEVEN DEGREES. THE MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE WAS TWO DEGREES
COOLER THAN LAST YEAR. THE MINIMUM TEMPERATURE WAS ONE DEGREE WARMER THAN LAST
YEAR.

PRECIPITATION...JANUARY PRECIPITATION TOTAL OF 4.49 INCHES WAS 1.51 INCHES ABOVE
NORMAL...AND 3.08 INCHES HIGHER THAN LAST YEARS TOTAL OF 1.41 INCHES.

SNOWFALL...JANUARY SNOWFALL TOTAL OF 9.0 INCHES WAS THREE INCHES LOWER THAN THE
NORMAL...AND 7.5 INCHES HIGHER THAN LAST YEARS TOTAL OF 1.5 INCHES.

RECORDS... ON 30 JANUARY A RECORD WAS SET IN THE AMOUNT OF PRECIPITATION THAT FELL
WHICH WAS 0.61 INCHES. THIS BROKE THE PREVIOUS RECORD OF 0.57 INCHES SET IN 1988.
