.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
A WARM FRONT JUST OFF OF MATAGORDA BAY WILL MOVE SLOWLY UP AND
TOWARD THE COAST TODAY AND TONIGHT. SEA FOG IS POSSIBLE ALONG THE
COAST LATER TODAY THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING. A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE
THROUGH ON FRIDAY AND WILL BRING AN END TO THE RAINS AND FOG.
MODERATE TO STRONG OFFSHORE WINDS AND ELEVATED SEAS WILL DEVELOP
IN THE WAKE OF THE FRONT...AND ADVISORIES WILL LIKELY BE NEEDED.
HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD IN FROM THE NORTH AND NORTHEAST OVER THE
WEEKEND. ONSHORE WINDS RETURN ON MONDAY AND STRENGTHEN MONDAY
NIGHT AHEAD OF THE NEXT COLD FRONT THAT IS EXPECTED TO SWEEP
THROUGH THE AREA ON TUESDAY.
