Synopsis for High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel out 60
nautical miles including Galveston and Matagorda Bays
1016 PM CST Sat Dec 16 2017

.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
An area low pressure has form near Matagorda Bay and should
continue to move northeast along the Upper Texas Coast. This is
causing strong east to southeast winds and rough seas in the
offshore waters. Small craft advisories will continue until 10 PM
for the bays and midnight for the offshore waters. Conditions
should improve Sunday morning as winds decrease with the system
moving out of the region. There is also still the potential for a
few strong to severe thunderstorms in the offshore waters tonight.
