...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...

The Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of Illinois and Indiana, including the following
areas, in Illinois, Cook, DuPage, Ford, Grundy, Iroquois,
Kankakee, Kendall, La Salle, Livingston, and Will. In Indiana,
Benton, Jasper, Lake IN, Newton, and Porter.

* Through late tonight

* Showers, with some thunderstorms possible in portions of east
central Illinois and northwest Indiana, will result in
additional rainfall amounts of up to one to two inches. The
highest additional rainfall amounts will primarily southeast
of Interstate 57. This is on top of what has already fallen.

* The ground remains frozen, therefore additional rain will
result in rapid runoff. Rises on area rivers and streams will
likely continue that will result in additional flooding.
Flooding of low lying areas and on roadways near flood prone
areas will also continue to be possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
