* FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  SOUTHWESTERN TANGIPAHOA PARISH IN SOUTHEASTERN LOUISIANA...
  SOUTHEASTERN LIVINGSTON PARISH IN SOUTHEASTERN LOUISIANA...

* UNTIL 530 PM CDT

* AT 331 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN DUE TO
  THUNDERSTORMS. THIS WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING IN THE ADVISORY AREA.
  UP TO THREE INCHES OF RAIN HAVE ALREADY FALLEN.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  HAMMOND...INDEPENDENCE...ALBANY...SPRINGFIELD...NATALBANY...
  KILLIAN AND TICKFAW.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF ONE INCH IS EXPECTED OVER THE AREA. THIS
ADDITIONAL RAIN WILL MAKE MINOR FLOODING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TURN AROUND...DON`T DROWN WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS. MOST FLOOD
DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES.

A FLOOD ADVISORY MEANS RIVER OR STREAM FLOWS ARE ELEVATED...OR
PONDING OF WATER IN URBAN OR OTHER AREAS IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT.
