...The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a Flood Warning
for the following rivers in Idaho...

  Payette River Near Emmett affecting Gem County.
  Payette River Near Payette affecting Payette County.

.The combination of rain and snowmelt will cause these rivers to
rise and reach flood stage, resulting in minor flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Persons with interests near these rivers should take action to
protect property.

The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  The Payette River Near Emmett.
* until further notice...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 11:45 AM Thursday the stage was 10.2 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 10.5 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by this afternoon and continue to
  rise to near 11.5 feet by after midnight tomorrow.
* Impact...At 11.5 feet...Or 18500 cfs, some pasture and farmland near
  Montour will be under water and minor flooding will spread into
  agricultural land downstream from Emmett. Squaw Creek will backup
  and flood agricultural land near intersection of Highway 52 and Ola
  Road.

The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  The Payette River Near Payette.
* from late tonight to late Friday night...or until the warning is
  cancelled.
* At 11:30 AM Thursday the stage was 10.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by early tomorrow and continue to
  rise to near 12.5 feet by tomorrow early afternoon. The river will
  fall below flood stage by tomorrow late evening.
* Impact...At 12.5 feet...Flood waters will approach Highway 52 in the
  vicinity of New Plymouth threatening several houses in low areas
  near the river. Houses near Faulks Bridge may also be threatened.
  Large areas of pastureland near the river will be flooded and
  livestock should be moved to higher ground. Sections of the
  greenbelt path in Payette may be flooded.
