FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR ALASKA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ANCHORAGE AK
355 PM AKDT MON AUG 3 2015

.DISCUSSION...
HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT HAS LEFT MOST OF THE REGION DRIER...WARMER...AND
STABLE...AND THIS GENERAL PATTERN WILL CONTINUE TUE AND WED. A LOW
NEAR THE ALASKA PENINSULA WILL SLOWLY DRIFT EAST...WITH RAIN
IMPACTING THE PENINSULA. THIS LOW WILL ALSO SPREAD SOME MOISTURE
INLAND TUE AND WED...WHICH WILL ALLOW FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF
SHOWERS...AND ISOLATED WET THUNDERSTORMS NEAR THE ALASKA RANGE.
DRY WEATHER WILL CONTINUE FOR THE KUSKOKWIM DELTA.
