...FIRE WEATHER WATCH FOR LIGHTNING IN EFFECT WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON
THROUGH LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONES 400, 401, 402,
403, 421, 423, 426, 636, 637 AND 646 for lightning...

.DISCUSSION...
Monsoonal moisture ahead of an upper low slowly lifts to the
north the next few days. A threat of lightning is expected along
the Nevada border region today...then most locations Wednesday.
Therefore the Fire Weather Watch remains valid. Elsewhere, a
strong upper low in the Gulf of Alaska moves into Canada
Thursday and drags a cold front across the area. Above normal
temperatures will lower to near normal Thursday. A strong upper
ridge will once again plant itself across the west for the
weekend bringing above normal temperatures to all zones.
