FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR CENTRAL SOUTH CAROLINA
AND EAST CENTRAL GEORGIA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC
258 AM EST SAT FEB 28 2015

.DISCUSSION...HIGH PRESSURE WILL CONTINUE TO RIDGE DOWN THE
EASTERN SEABOARD INTO OUR REGION TODAY...LEADING TO INCREASED
NE WINDS...DRIER LOW LEVEL AIR INTRUSION AND COOLER TEMPS.
UPPER ENERGY WILL LEAD TO SOME LIGHT RAIN DEVELOPING AND
INCREASING IN COVERAGE OVER THE REGION FROM LATE TODAY THROUGH
SUNDAY. THIS WILL RESULT IN COOL WEDGE CONDITIONS SUNDAY WITH
VERY LOW MIXING HEIGHTS AND MUCH HIGHER RH VALUES.

FOG NOT EXPECTED EARLY THIS MORNING DUE TO WIND AND DRIER AIR.
FOG AND REDUCED VISIBILITIES IN LIGHT RAIN EXPECTED LATE
TONIGHT AND SUNDAY MORNING...BUT UNCERTAINTIES EXIST AT THIS
TIME ON WHETHER IT WILL BE DENSE.
