FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR SOUTHEAST TEXAS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HOUSTON/GALVESTON TX
315 PM CDT FRI JUL 3 2015

.DISCUSSION...
HIGH PRESSURE RIDGING AT ALL LEVELS...WITH SLIGHTLY HIGHER MOISTURE
LEVELS PER A MODEST ONSHORE WIND...WILL PRODUCE WARM AND MUGGY FOURTH
OF JULY CONDITIONS. THERE IS A MODERATE CHANCE FOR SCATTERED AFTERNOON
STORMS ON SATURDAY...MOST LIKELY FORMING ALONG THE INLAND MOVING SEA
BREEZE BOUNDARY. EASTERN HIGH PRESSURE EXPANDING WEST OVER THE STATE
EARLY NEXT WEEK WILL INHIBIT SHOWER AND STORM ACTIVITY BUT WILL AID IN
WARMING AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES UP A FEW DEGREES MORE.
