Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central/Southeast Illinois
National Weather Service Lincoln IL
248 PM CDT Fri Mar 24 2017

.DISCUSSION...

A strong low pressure system will slowly lift northeast out of
the southern Plains, and is expected to be centered in northern
Illinois by Sunday morning. Periodic showers and thunderstorms
are expected with this system through Sunday morning, with the
threat diminishing Sunday afternoon as the low passes by.
Rainfall amounts will average between a half an one inch with
this system, with the greater totals along the Illinois River
valley. After a short break, the next storm system will bring
additional rain into the area on Monday.
