FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EAST KENTUCKY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSON KY
700 AM EDT SAT MAR 28 2015

...VERY LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY TODAY AND ESPECIALLY SUNDAY...
...SOME WIND GUSTS OF 15 TO 20 MPH SUNDAY...

.DISCUSSION...HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD IN ACROSS THE AREA THROUGH
TONIGHT. VERY DRY AIR MOVING INTO THE AREA WILL ALLOW FOR RELATIVE
HUMIDITIES TO DIP BELOW 20 PERCENT IN SOME LOCATIONS TODAY. ON
SUNDAY...HIGH PRESSURE WILL SHIFT OFF TO THE SOUTHEAST...WITH DRY
AIR REMAINING IN PLACE WHILE TEMPERATURES WARM BACK INTO THE 50S.
THIS WILL RESULT IN VERY LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITIES...DOWN TO LESS
THAN 15 PERCENT FOR SOME LOCATIONS. ADDITIONALLY...SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST
WINDS OF AROUND 10 MPH WILL GUST TO BETWEEN 15 AND 20 MPH AT TIMES ON
SUNDAY. A PASSING COLD FRONT WILL THEN BRING A GOOD CHANCE OF
SHOWERS TO THE AREA SUNDAY NIGHT.
