.DISCUSSION...
Dry air will remain in place across the Mid-South today,
especially along and east of the Mississippi River where minimum
relative humidity values will range from 25-30%. Southeast winds
will resume today, but should generally remain under 10 mph. Rain
chances will return to the forecast this evening, quickly ramping
up for the overnight period. A wetting rain is likely nearly area
wide. Relatively light south to southeast 20 foot winds will
continue on Monday, increasing 10-20 mph on Tuesday. After morning
showers and thunderstorms, Monday afternoon may provide a brief
dry period. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible
area wide Monday night through Wednesday.
