FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN
National Weather Service Marquette MI
502 AM EDT Sun Sep 24 2017

...UNSEASONABLY WARM AND HUMID THROUGH THE BEGINNING OF THE
WORK WEEK...

.DISCUSSION: Unseasonably warm and humid conditions will continue
through Monday. Some record highs will likely be set as afternoon
temperatures rise well into the 80s and possibly even a few 90s
across much of Upper Michigan each day. Conditions will be cooler
near Lake Michigan and Lake Huron. A cold front, slowly moving
across the Upper Michigan late Monday and Tuesday, will then
bring an increasing chance of showers and thunderstorms eastward
across the area. Temperatures will fall back to near or below
normal on Wednesday and remain below normal through Friday with
intermittent light rain chances for the end of the work week.
