FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN

...One more dry day then wet tonight into Thursday...

.DISCUSSION: A warm front pushing north of Upper Michigan
will lead to temperatures well into the 60s today with
minimum RH as low as 35 percent. Most areas should see
wind gusts stay below 20 mph. A low pressure system approaching
the region tonight will spread rain across most of Upper Michigan.
All areas should see rain for Wednesday into Thursday morning as
another low pressure system tracks across the Upper Great Lakes.
There will be enough cold air for wintry precipitation to develop
over western Upper Michigan by Wednesday evening. Total
precipitation Tonight into Thursday morning will exceed 1 inch
in most areas with some areas seeing over 2 inches. Mainly dry
weather will return Friday into Saturday but more widespread
precipitation will arrive late in the weekend.
