Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Middle Tennessee
National Weather Service Nashville TN
243 AM CDT Fri Jul 28 2017

.DISCUSSION...A strong cold front will pass through Middle Tennessee
today, bringing widespread showers and a few thunderstorms to the
area. Rainfall will be sufficient to dampen fuels that have become
dry during the recent heat wave. Much cooler air will move in behind
the front, with a most pleasant weekend in store for mid state
residents. Look for dry weather from Saturday onward. Other than
lightning strikes from thunderstorms today and this evening, there
are no fire weather concerns.
