FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NASHVILLE TN
437 AM CDT FRI AUG 29 2014

.DISCUSSION...
UPPER RIDGE AXIS WILL SWING NORTHWARD ACROSS THE MID STATE TODAY.
THE ASSOCIATED SUBSIDENCE WILL ALLOW FOR DRIER AIR TO MIX
DOWNWARD AND THEREFORE...HUMIDITY VALUES WILL BE ON THE LOW SIDE
TODAY. TONIGHT AND SATURDAY HOWEVER...A UNIFORM AND INCREASINGLY
MOIST SOUTHERLY FLOW WILL SET UP. AS THIS COMBINES WITH A SERIES
OF IMPULSES...THE WEATHER WILL BECOME UNSETTLED ACROSS THE AREA
INTO SUNDAY.

IN THE EXT FCST...THE UPPER RIDGING WILL REDEVELOP ACROSS THE
SOUTHERN U.S. NEXT WEEK. THEREFORE...WARM WEATHER WITH JUST A SLIGHT
CHANCE OF AFTERNOON AND EVENING SHOWERS AND TSTMS IS EXPECTED.
