Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Washington and North Idaho
National Weather Service Spokane WA
557 AM PDT Tue Sep 19 2017

.DISCUSSION...

An upper level trough will remain over the Inland Northwest for
much of the week with showery, cooler and breezy conditions along
with high mountains snow and a small chance of afternoon
thunderstorms. A secondary cold front is expected to arrive late
Tuesday night into Wednesday, but with the track being across
southern Washington. This would place the higher precipitation
amounts, wetting rains and gusty winds south of the region. Drier
weather is expected by the weekend into early next week as
temperatures return to seasonal normals.
