.DISCUSSION...
A WET AND COLD PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE EAST AND ACROSS THE
AREA TODAY INTO TONIGHT BRINGING WIDESPREAD SHOWERS ALONG WITH HIGHER
ELEVATIONS SNOW. HIGHLY ELEVATED HUMIDITY AND COOLER THAN NORMAL
TEMPERATURES WILL FOLLOW WITH ADDITIONAL COOLING ON TUESDAY AS
CENTRAL DESERT HIGHS FALL INTO THE LOW TO MID 50S. CLEARING FROM THE
WEST WILL OCCUR TONIGHT INTO TUESDAY AND BY TUESDAY AFTERNOON THERE
WILL BE JUST A FEW LINGERING HIGHER ELEVATIONS SHOWERS EAST OF
PHOENIX. GUSTY WEST WINDS ARE EXPECTED TODAY ESPECIALLY OVER
SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA WHERE PEAK GUSTS NEAR 40 MPH ARE POSSIBLE. MUCH
