Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest and South-Central
Arizona and Southeast California
National Weather Service Phoenix AZ
214 PM MST Sat Aug 19 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Southerly flow aloft will gradually push monsoon moisture back
into the region over the next few days, with increasing chances
for storms across our CWA. Although the best chances for wetting
rain will remain in the higher terrain, isolated storms will be
spreading back into the lower deserts as well. Winds will be
typical for this time of year expect near thunderstorms where
outflows can produce gusty and erratic winds.

...Thunderstorms imply gusty winds...

Note...Additional Fire Weather Forecast information can be found
