Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest and South-Central
Arizona and Southeast California
National Weather Service Phoenix AZ
132 PM MST Sat Apr 29 2017

...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM MST /7 PM PDT/ THIS
EVENING DUE TO STRONG WINDS...LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY AND HIGH FIRE
DANGER...

.DISCUSSION...
Strong winds along the Colorado River Valley will diminish this
evening as a dry weather system continues to move eastward. This
will bring an end to the critical fire weather conditions although
overnight recoveries are only expected to be between 20-30%
tonight. Dry conditions will persist for Sunday and Monday with
afternoon minimums in the single digits with sustained winds at or
below 15 mph. Overnight recoveries will remain relatively
unchanged, hovering between 25-35%.

Note...Additional Fire Weather Forecast information can be found
in the Area Forecast Discussion. See product PHXAFDPSR.
