National Weather Service Blacksburg VA

.DISCUSSION...

A cold front with its associated convection has moved east across
the region this afternoon and will move into the Atlantic ocean
tonight. Behind the front, gusty northwest winds will transport
cold air into our region tonight into Sunday. High pressure will
build across our region Sunday morning with diminishing winds Sunday
afternoon and night. Minimum relative humidity levels will drop
into the 20s Sunday. Southwest flow develops by Monday resulting
in warm advection, increasing moisture and threat for showers
towards Monday night into Tuesday.
