A strong cold front moved through the region yesterday. Gusty
northwest winds are expected today, with scattered snow showers
and additional light snow accumulations possible. Wind chills will
be down in the single digits and below zero in the Sierra. Cold
temperatures are expected through the week with another storm
front moving through on Thursday.

COUNTY...

A strong cold front moved through the region yesterday. Gusty
northwest winds are expected today, with scattered snow showers
and additional light snow accumulations possible in the Eastern
Sierra mainly in Mono County. For the Owens Valley, humidity will
largely remain above critical levels however, winds will create
elevated fire behavior concerns through today. Winds will decrease
by Tuesday, with much cooler temperatures in place across the
region. Unsettled weather with occasional periods periods of
enhanced wind and chances for precipitation continue through the
upcoming weekend.
