...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED AGAIN TODAY CAPABLE OF PRODUCING
STRONG WINDS AND VERY HEAVY RAINFALL. HOT TEMPERATURES EXPECTED ONCE
AGAIN BEFORE COOLING TO MORE TYPICAL MID SUMMER HEAT OVER THE
WEEKEND. INCREASINGLY MOIST CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED NEXT WEEK. WINDS
WILL BE FAIRLY LIGHT THOUGH THUNDERSTORM OUTFLOWS WILL RESULT IN
PERIODS OF GUSTINESS.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

TODAY WILL BE THE HOTTEST DAY OF THE NEXT 7 DAYS, AS TEMPERATURES
GRADUALLY COOLDOWN THROUGH NEXT WEEK. AN INCREASE IN MONSOONAL
MOISTURE WILL BRING ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
OVER THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS FRIDAY THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF NEXT
WEEK. THE GREATEST RISK OF DRY LIGHTNING WILL BE THROUGH
SUNDAY...THEN A THREAT FOR LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN FOR EARLY NEXT WEEK.
GUSTY ERRATIC WINDS ARE POSSIBLE NEAR THE STRONGER STORMS.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

THUNDERSTORMS FORMING LATER TODAY OVER THE WHITE MOUNTAINS THROUGH
SOUTHERN YAVAPAI COUNTY WILL DRIFT TOWARD THE LOWER DESERTS OF
SOUTH- CENTRAL ARIZONA AND LA PAZ COUNTY BEFORE WEAKENING. THE MAIN
IMPACT WILL BE STRONG WINDS. RAINFALL WILL BE VERY LOCALIZED AND
FAVOR HIGHER TERRAIN AND FOOTHILLS AREAS. MAX TEMPS WILL REMAIN WELL
ABOVE NORMAL THROUGH FRIDAY BEFORE FALLING TO NEAR NORMAL SATURDAY
ALONG WITH AN INCREASE IN MONSOON MOISTURE AND A FAIR TO GOOD CHANCE
OF WETTING RAINS FROM THUNDERSTORMS. MINIMUM HUMIDITIES WILL
INCREASE FROM THE 15 TO 22 PERCENT ON FRIDAY TO 22 TO 32 PERCENT ON
SATURDAY.
