...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

DRY CONDITIONS WILL PERSIST ACROSS THE AREA THROUGH THE COMING
WEEKEND ALONG WITH NEAR OR SLIGHTLY ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES. AN
UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE MOVING INTO NORTHEAST NEVADA WILL BRING AN
INCREASE IN WINDS WEDNESDAY...ESPECIALLY ACROSS PORTIONS OF MOHAVE
COUNTY. WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN BELOW CRITICAL LEVELS
ELSEWHERE.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

STRONG GUSTY WEST WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITIES WILL CONTINUE TO PRODUCE
CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS FOR THE DESERTS AND DESERT MOUNTAIN
SLOPES OF RIVERSIDE AND SAN DIEGO COUNTIES THROUGH LATE TONIGHT.
WINDS WILL GRADUALLY WEAKEN FOR WEDNESDAY INTO THURSDAY WITH A
SLIGHT RECOVERY IN HUMIDITIES THURSDAY. STRONGER ONSHORE FLOW WILL
BRING A COOLING TREND THROUGH THURSDAY WITH DEEPENING OF THE MARINE
LAYER SPREADING HIGHER COASTAL HUMIDITIES INTO THE VALLEYS FOR
WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. SLIGHTLY WARMING FOR FRIDAY UNDER WEAK HIGH
PRESSURE...THE SLOW COOLING FOR SATURDAY THROUGH EARLY NEXT WEEK AS
A WEAK TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE MOVES INTO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

UNUSUALLY DRY LATE JUNE CONDITIONS WILL SPREAD OVER THE DISTRICTS
THROUGH THURSDAY YIELDING ALMOST NO CHANCE AT THUNDERSTORMS OR
OUTFLOW WINDS. TEMPERATURES WILL COOL SOMEWHAT CLOSER TO NORMAL
LEVELS, HOWEVER AFTERNOON HUMIDITY LEVELS WILL FALL BACK TO A 5-10%
RANGE. OVERNIGHT RECOVERY WILL BE POOR TO LOCALLY FAIR. SOME
STRONGER AFTERNOON WIND GUSTS NEAR 25 MPH WILL LEAD TO BRIEF PERIODS
OF ELEVATED FIRE DANGER.
