.DISCUSSION...
A weak cold front slid into northeast NM this morning, backing up to
around the burn area. As a result, winds will shift around this
afternoon as the front mixes out. Initially, winds should be from the
south before switching to the southwest by mid afternoon. As they
switch around to the southwest, they will increase, with gusts near
20-25 mph possible. Humidities will continue to lower to around 15
percent this afternoon. Fair recoveries are expected tonight. On
Thursday, winds will ramp up again, stronger than today, but
humidities will likely increase a few percent as well. Winds will be
strong on Friday as well, but humidities will continue to increase.
