.DISCUSSION...Warm and dry conditions will continue through the
end of the work week, with only minor cooling expected until
Saturday. Meanwhile, humidity will remain low, both in terms of
low afternoon minimums and poor overnight recoveries at high
elevations that remain with the thermal belt. Gusty easterly winds
will impact the higher elevations with east exposure overnight
Monday, but these winds will diminish markedly during the day
Tuesday. Winds will generally be light and terrain driven the
remainder of the week, with onshore and upvalley winds during the
afternoon and offshore and downvalley winds overnight.
