.DISCUSSION...A cold trough in the Pacific Northwest today will move
southeast into the Great Basin Thursday. Sustained southwest winds
will increase to over 15 mph with gusts to 25 mph by about 1200 to
1300 today and further increase to 20-25 mph with gusts to 40 mph
after 1500. Winds will remain gusty through tonight and ramp up
even more Thursday with gusts in excess of 50 mph possible. The
associated cold front will move through Thursday night around
midnight. However, any wind shift be very subtle at best. Winds will
gradually decrease overnight with gusts to 25 mph by morning but
with cooler temperatures and high RH. Slight chance of showers Friday.
