.DISCUSSION...High pressure ridge persists over the region tonight
for relatively light winds and quiet conditions. The ridge is
pushed eastward Thursday afternoon as an upper trough moves
eastward through southern Canada. Winds increase ahead of an
associated surface cool front with isolated/scattered storms
expected during the afternoon and evening. Models suggest that the
front will stall out over western Montana but then gradually
drifts through the burn area Thursday night. Relatively quiet
weather returns for Friday.
