For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.2 inch low over just to the south of the SOO this
morning, will drift slightly northward and spiral over the SOO
region today while deepening to 29.1 inches. This low will swing a
cold front across the lake this early morning. The low will then
slowly drift northeastward to the Ontario- Quebec border Tuesday
night and Wednesday while gradually weakening to 29.6 inches. In the
wake of this low...a 30.0 inch ridge will extend from the
southeastern states to Maine Wednesday night and Thursday.

early. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 2 to 4 feet.
.TONIGHT...Southwest winds 15 to 25 knots increasing to 30 knots.
A chance of showers after midnight. Showers likely late. Waves
3 to 6 feet building to 5 to 8 feet. Waves occasionally around
10 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...Southwest winds to 30 knots diminishing to 10 to
15 knots. Showers likely. Waves 5 to 8 feet subsiding to 2 to
4 feet. Waves occasionally around 10 feet.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots becoming
northwest. A chance of showers. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.THURSDAY...North winds 5 to 15 knots becoming west. Waves 1 to
3 feet.
.FRIDAY...South winds 10 to 15 knots becoming west. A chance of
showers Friday night. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.SATURDAY...West winds 5 to 15 knots becoming north. A chance of

diminishing to 10 to 15 knots. A chance of showers in the
afternoon. Waves 4 to 7 feet subsiding to 3 to 6 feet. Waves
occasionally around 9 feet.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...West winds 5 to 15 knots becoming northwest. A
chance of showers. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet.
.THURSDAY...North winds 10 to 15 knots becoming west 15 to
20 knots. A chance of showers during the day. Waves 2 feet or
less building to 2 to 4 feet.
