northeast Pennsylvania.

   Winter Weather Advisory.

A light wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain will develop late
tonight. Coatings of snow and ice are expected prior to daybreak
Thursday.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

   Winter Weather Advisory.

A wintry mix of snow sleet and some freezing rain will continue
through the day on Thursday. The snow and sleet could be heavy at
times midday.

Another period of rain and freezing rain is expected late Thursday
night into Friday. Additional ice accumulations are possible,
especially along and east of Interstate 81.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

A period of light snow will be possible Thursday. Amounts are still
somewhat uncertain, but look to be mainly under 1 inch. Friday
morning appears to the best chance for a period of freezing rain or
sleet, with ice accumulations possible. Monitor the forecast closely
for updates.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central New York.

.DAY ONE...This Evening and Tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected today through this evening.
However, very late tonight a period of light snow may develop.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

A period of snow is expected through the day on Thursday. At this
time snow amounts look to range from 1 to 3 inches. There will be a
large gradient in snow totals from south to north, with the higher
amounts south of US 20. Monitor the forecast closely for updates.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast Pennsylvania.

.DAY ONE...This Evening and Tonight.

Very late tonight, a light wintry mix of snow sleet and freezing
rain will start to develop. At this time the higher chances for
slick roads and ice appear to be in the higher elevations, mainly
above 1500 feet in elevation. However, there is a good deal of
uncertainty in the forecast. Monitor closely for updates.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

A wintry mix of sleet, freezing rain and rain will continue through
the day Thursday. At this time the higher chances for slick roads and
ice appear to be in the higher elevations, mainly above 1500 feet in
elevation. Mainly rain is expected in the lower Wyoming Valley,
including Wilkes-Barre and Scranton. However, there is a good deal
of uncertainty in the forecast. Monitor closely for updates.

Another period of freezing rain is possible late Thursday night into
Friday; again mainly over the higher elevations of the Poconos.
Coatings of ice are possible during this time period.
