This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Deep South
Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

An elevated risk of rip currents is expected to develop at the
beaches of South Padre Island and Boca Chica Beach Thursday and
continue through at least Sunday due to the possible approach of
an organizing tropical system. Higher surf and coastal flooding
along area beaches will also be possible.

Tropical showers and thunderstorms are forecast to increase in
coverage Thursday night through Friday. Isolated heavy rainfall
along and east of I-69C with even better chances over the coastal
counties could produce localized flooding of streets and in
poorly-draining and low-lying areas.

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED but could be warranted
Friday depending on future tropical development in the Gulf of
Mexico.

Small craft advisories will be needed for all or portions of the
Lower Texas Coastal Waters Thursday night through Saturday due to
the possible approach of an organizing tropical system.
