This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Deep South
Texas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

A Freeze Warning is in effect for Inland Willacy, Hidalgo, Starr,
Zapata, Jim Hogg, Brooks and Kenedy counties from 10 PM CST this
evening through 9 AM CST Thursday. Temperatures overnight will
range from 27 to 32 degrees.

A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect for Cameron and Willacy
counties from 6 PM CST this evening through 10 AM CST Thursday.
Cold temperatures and moderate north winds will make temperatures
feel like they are 20 to 30 degrees.

Patchy light freezing drizzle will be possible across the area
tonight. Little to no ice accumulations are expected, but a few
localized slick spots cannot be ruled out.

There is a high risk of rip currents at the beaches of South Padre
Island and at Boca Chica Beach.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

A Freeze Warning will continue through 9 AM CST Thursday for
Inland Willacy, Hidalgo, Starr, Zapata, Jim Hogg, Brooks and
Kenedy counties.

A Wind Chill Advisory will continue through 10 AM CST Thursday for
Cameron and Willacy counties.

An elevated risk of rip currents will likely continue through the
rest of the week.

Minor coastal flooding will be possible Thursday through early
Friday, especially during high tide cycles, with persistent
easterly winds across the western Gulf of Mexico.

A Small Craft Advisory is in effect through Midnight CST tonight
for the lower Texas Gulf waters from 0 to 60 nautical miles
offshore.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Small Craft Advisories may be needed for portions or all of the
Lower Texas coastal waters Saturday night through Monday due to
increasing southerly winds and building seas.
