LIGHT SNOW WILL SPREAD ACROSS MUCH OF THE NORTHLAND LATE TONIGHT
AND CONTINUE THROUGH MUCH OF SUNDAY. GENERAL ACCUMULATIONS OF A
FEW INCHES ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA TO BETWEEN 3 AND 5
INCHES ARE EXPECTED ACROSS MUCH OF EASTERN MINNESOTA AND
NORTHWEST WISCONSIN BY SUNDAY EVENING. PLEASE REFER TO THE LATEST
WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE FOR DETAILS ON ON A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY
THAT HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR LATER TONIGHT AND SUNDAY FOR MANY AREAS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WILL CONTINUE IN MANY AREAS DURING THE DAY
SUNDAY... BEFORE ENDING SUNDAY EVENING. TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS OF BETWEEN
3 AND 5 INCHES ARE EXPECTED ACROSS EASTERN MINNESOTA AND NORTHWEST
WISCONSIN BY SUNDAY EVENING. PLEASE REFER TO THE LATEST WINTER
WEATHER MESSAGE FOR DETAILS ON ON A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY THAT
IS IN EFFECT THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING FOR MANY AREAS.

A PROLONGED PERIOD OF VERY COLD ARCTIC AIR WILL AFFECT ALL OF THE
NORTHLAND FOR MUCH OF THE UPCOMING WEEK. MUCH COLDER AIR WILL
SURGE SOUTHWARD INTO THE NORTHLAND ON MONDAY...WITH A REINFORCING
BLAST OF COLD AIR ARRIVING TUESDAY NIGHT. GUSTY NORTHWEST TO WEST
WINDS WILL ACCOMPANY THE ARCTIC AIR...RESULTING IN POTENTIALLY
DANGEROUSLY COLD WIND CHILLS COLDER THAN 25 BELOW ZERO IN MANY
AREAS TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY. A WIND CHILL ADVISORY MAY BE
NEEDED FOR MANY AREAS DURING THIS TIME FRAME.

ALL OF WESTERN LAKE SUPERIOR FOR MUCH OF NEXT WEEK AS TWO AREAS
OF LOW PRESSURE AND A PAIR OF ARCTIC COLD FRONTS SURGE
SOUTHEASTWARD ACROSS THE REGION. THE STRONG AND GUSTY WINDS AND
RESULTANT HIGH WAVES ARE LIKELY TO RESULT IN CONDITIONS HAZARDOUS
TO SMALLER VESSELS...AND THESE CONDITIONS WILL LIKELY PERSIST FOR
MUCH OF THE UPCOMING WEEK. SMALL CRAFT ADVISORIES OR GALE WARNINGS
MAY BE NEEDED FOR THIS TIME PERIOD.
