THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE SOUTH PLAINS...ROLLING
PLAINS AND THE FAR SOUTHERN TEXAS PANHANDLE.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED
TO DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON AS AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE CROSSES THE
SOUTH PLAINS AREA FROM NORTH TO SOUTH. BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES AND
LIMITED LOW LEVEL MOISTURE WILL RESULT IN ONLY VERY MODEST AMOUNTS
OF INSTABILITY. LIGHT TO MODERATE RAINFALL IS EXPECTED WITH THE
SHOWERS WHILE THE STRONGEST STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING
BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL AND SMALL HAIL. NO SEVERE WEATHER IS
ANTICIPATED.
