Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited Lightning risk.
  Elevated Excessive Heat risk.

DISCUSSION...

A few scattered thunderstorms are possible this evening and
tonight across far southern Missouri and southeastern Kansas.
Severe weather is not expected.

Heat indices will remain between 95 and 103 across southwestern
Missouri and southeastern Kansas this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

  Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
