...WATERSPOUTS POSSIBLE THIS MORNING...

CONDITIONS ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS OF SOUTHEAST SOUTH CAROLINA WILL
FAVOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF WATERSPOUTS THIS MORNING. THE RISK WILL
BE HIGHEST BETWEEN CAPE ROMAIN AND THE BEAUFORT RIVER ENTRANCE...
INCLUDING CHARLESTON HARBOR...WHERE A WEAK WIND SHIFT WILL REMAIN
NEARLY STATIONARY. WATERSPOUTS ARE MOST LIKELY TO OCCUR UNDER
LINES OF DEVELOPING CLOUDS OR NEAR LINES OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

IF WATERSPOUTS OCCUR...MOVE YOUR BOAT AWAY FROM IT. REMEMBER...
WATERSPOUTS CAN DEVELOP RAPIDLY AND PRODUCE WINDS AND SEAS THAT
ARE DANGEROUS FOR VESSELS AND EVERYONE ONBOARD.

REPORT WATERSPOUTS TO THE TYBEE ISLAND OR CHARLESTON COAST GUARD
STATION AND ASK THEM TO IMMEDIATELY RELAY THE REPORT TO THE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHARLESTON.
