AT 907 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED SHOWERS...CAPABLE OF
PRODUCING WINDS TO AROUND 30 KNOTS. THESE SHOWERS WERE LOCATED ALONG
A LINE EXTENDING FROM 11 NM NORTHEAST OF TIMBALIER BAY TO 21 NM
SOUTH OF GRAND ISLE TO 27 NM SOUTH OF SOUTHWEST PASS OF MISSISSIPPI
RIVER... MOVING NORTHWEST AT 35 KNOTS. SOME INTENSIFICATION IS
POSSIBLE INTO THUNDERSTORMS SHORTLY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS TO AROUND 30 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
