...THUNDERSTORMS MOVING ACROSS THE CARIBBEAN WATERS AND ANEGADA
PASSAGE...

AT 555 PM AST...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED AN AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS
WITH OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING ASSOCIATED WITH THE LEADING EDGE OF
A TROPICAL WAVE MOVING WESTWARD ACROSS THE CARIBBEAN WATERS.
THESE THUNDERSTORMS ARE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS TO AROUND 30
KNOTS...HEAVY RAIN AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING. THE STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED OVER THE WATERS JUST TO THE SOUTH OF ST
CROIX MOVING WEST NORTHWESTWARD AT AROUND 10 KNOTS. ADDITIONAL
THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPMENT WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THESE AREAS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS TO AROUND 30 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THIS STORM PASSES.

THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE SUDDEN WATERSPOUTS. WATERSPOUTS CAN EASILY
OVERTURN BOATS AND CREATE LOCALLY HAZARDOUS SEAS. SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY.
