A NARROW BAND OF LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN SHOWERS WILL IMPACT THE
NORTHEAST PLAINS THROUGH THE EARLY AFTERNOON HOURS. THE MAIN FOCUS
AREA THROUGH 200 PM WILL BE FOUND ACROSS CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN UNION
COUNTY WITH ISOLATED SHOWERS ACROSS EASTERN COLFAX AND NORTHERN
HARDING COUNTIES. MOVEMENT OF THE BAND WILL BE TOWARDS THE SOUTHEAST
AT 15 MPH. EXPECT RAINFALL AMOUNTS FROM SEVERAL HUNDREDTHS TO ONE
TENTH INCH.

WILL AFFECT THE WESTERN MOUNTAINS/NORTHWEST PLATEAU AND MIDDLE/LOWER
PORTIONS OF THE RIO GRANDE VALLEY THROUGH THE EARLY AFTERNOON. SOME
EMBEDDED THUNDER WILL BE POSSIBLE ALONG THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE AREA
AS THE ATMOSPHERE SLOWLY DESTABILIZES. SHOWERS AND STORM MOVEMENT
WILL BE TOWARDS THE NORTH/NORTHWEST AROUND 10 MPH. MOST OF THE
ACTIVITY WILL CONTAIN LIGHT TO MODERATE RAINFALL UP TO A TENTH OF AN
INCH.

AND CENTRAL SANGRE DE CRISTO MOUNTAINS EARLY THIS AFTERNOON. THIS
LINE WILL MOVE NORTHEAST AT 5 MPH. EXPECT VERY HEAVY RAIN AND SMALL
HAIL...ALONG WITH FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING. THE
STRONGER STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF ONE
HALF TO ONE INCH THROUGH 200 PM MDT.
