EVENING AS PRESSURE GRADIENTS TIGHTEN.

...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM PDT THIS EVENING...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PENDLETON HAS ISSUED A WIND
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM PDT THIS EVENING.

* WINDS...NORTHWEST 30 TO 40 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH.

* TIMING...WINDS WILL INCREASE DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EARLY
  EVENING HOURS THEN DECREASE OVERNIGHT. THE STRONGEST WINDS WILL
  OCCUR BETWEEN 5 PM AND 8 PM.

* IMPACTS...HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES WILL HAVE DIFFICULTY TRAVELING
  THROUGH MOST OF THE KITTITAS VALLEY. THIS INCLUDES INTERSTATE
  82 AND INTERSTATE 90. WATCH FOR OTHER MOTORISTS WHO MAY SUDDENLY
  BE CAUGHT BY SURPRISE BY STRONG WINDS AND SWERVE INTO THE OTHER
  LANE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT WINDS OF 35 MPH ARE EXPECTED. WINDS
THIS STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH
