...LAKE WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT SATURDAY...

* EVENT...A tightening pressure gradient across the southern
Plains will result in strong southerly winds increasing to 15-
20 mph with gusts to 30-35 mph over much of east Texas, southern
Arkansas, and north Louisiana. While these winds may briefly
diminish a bit this evening, winds should increase to 15 to 20
mph with higher gusts by mid evening and persist throughout the
  overnight hours.

* TIMING...From 11 AM CDT this morning to 7 AM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACT...Boaters should exercise caution on area lakes due to
  rough chop conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop
on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to capsizing.
