Offshore Waters Forecast for Hawaii

Hawaiian offshore waters beyond 40 nautical miles out to 240
nautical miles including the portion of the Papahanaumokuakea
Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height
of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than
twice the significant wave height.

.Synopsis for the Hawaiian offshore waters...
A weak surface trough passing just south of the offshore area
will keep the chance for thunderstorms over the far southern
waters tonight. The area of thunderstorms will shift west of the
area over the weekend. High pressure to the NE will weaken
through the weekend as a front approaches from the north. The
front will stall N of the offshore waters early next week.
