Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will dominate the Gulf waters through the
end of the week and into the weekend as a series of troughs
drifts E across the NE Gulf. A trough will develop over the
Yucatan Peninsula during the evening hours before pushing
offshore into the SW Gulf each night, then move W across the SW
Gulf during the overnight hours, and dissipate by late each
morning. A weak cold front may approach the NE Gulf by the end
of the weekend.

.TONIGHT...NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.THU...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.THU NIGHT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.FRI...E winds 5 to 10 kt,  shifting to NW to N. Seas 2 ft or
less.
.FRI NIGHT...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt,  shifting to SE to S late.
Seas 2 ft or less.
.SAT...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.SAT NIGHT...W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will dominate the basin through the next
several days, weakening later today as a trough moves in from E
of 65W. The ridge will rebuild Thu night into Fri while a trough
deepens over the Carolinas, supporting fresh SW flow off NE
Florida for the end of the week into the weekend. Winds will
pulse to fresh and occasionally strong from N of Hispaniola to
the approach to the Windward Passage.

.TONIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE 10 to 15 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less.
.THU...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less.
.THU NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE 5 to
10 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less.
.FRI...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S 10 to 15 kt N of 27N.
Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
.FRI NIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of
27N, and 3 ft N of 27N.
.SAT...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and

.SAT NIGHT...S to SW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of
27N, and 3 to 4 ft N of 27N.
